Nap Time with Norman

It's been a bit of a stressful week here in Teeny Tiny Tabby Town.  Norman decided we would all feel better if we all just took a nap.

Tommy and Simba set up Camp Cardboard in the kitchen, but they were too busy fighting over the sleeping bag to actually go to sleep.

Charlie laid in bed with his woobie but refused to sleep lest the cat think he's in charge.

Norman simply sighed, stretched, moved to a new spot, and went back to sleep.

"Duckie can't go to sleep before he's had his bath," said Simba.

Tommy declared, "I can't possibly go to sleep without a cup of milk!"

Norman simply sighed, stretched, moved to a new spot, and went back to sleep.

"I'm really not tired," protested Tommy as he laid down in a bed.

"Maybe I'll just close my eyes and pretend to sleep instead,"  Penny said.

Norman simply sighed, stretched, moved to a new spot, and went back to sleep.

Simba got a little carried away at story time and decided to act out "The Prince and the Pea" with the cushions from the patio chairs,

... and tested each and every sunbeam

... before falling asleep with a friend.

Charlie had other ideas.

Tommy needed just one more hug before drifting off to dreamland.

"Finally!" thought Norman, as he sighed, stretched, moved to a new spot, and went back to sleep.

  3. Hey guys! It's me, running a test of the blog comments. I think I've worked out the setting that was keeping people from being able to comment. If this works than I have. Give it a try!

    1. Hooray!! For whatever reason, the default setting on this blog style restricted comments to registered users. I'm clueless... sorry!! It's fixed now. Just click on the drop down menu, choose Name or Anonymous and it should let everyone comment from now on.

If you have any other problems commenting, feel free to email me at teenytinytabbies (at) gmail (dot) com

      Thanks for sticking with me!

  5. Camp Cardboard...it looks like they're staging a protest in your house! Have you been cutting back on snacks?

    3. For the fat boys (Tommy and Simba)... yes, the snacking has been limited for a while. Camp Cardboard was a hoot! This was around Christmas when they occupied every box that arrived at our front door. I don't remember now where the sleeping bag came from, but Simba lived on it for weeks! We still have their boxes, just spread throughout the house now.

  6. Can't wait for your profiles of Tommy and Simba, among others. Of course, as Norman's Number One fan thanks to his cameos on Love and Hisses, I am very much enjoying your new blog and meeting Norm's housemates, four- and two-footers alike.

    1. You can meet Tommy and Simba right now! Check out "Meet the Mayor" for Simba's profile and "The Experimental Foster" to meet Tommy. (And, of course, they will be featured prominently in future posts as well!) I'll tell Norman that his number one fan stopped by!
