Whiskers In The Window

Weekend Update: Still available and looking for a good home...

Thank you SO very much for hopping aboard Operation-Share-The-Mama. From the numbers that I was able to track (which only show me the first share, not the share from the share from the share), Mama's photo and link were shared on Facebook more than 30 times on Friday. Her Facebook post was viewed by over 3000 people. My blog post was read more than 500 times. She's still here with us, but I'm sure it's just a matter of time.

If you should happen to feel the need to continue sharing, here is the link.

Guess Who?

It's Ruby Ruby Roo...

That's who.

Our little peanut Roo has entered the awkward teenage phase... long, gangly legs, big ears, and her teeny tiny face is becoming more angular to resemble the Siamese that came from her Mama's genetics. If she stays still long enough, I'll try to get some pictures to show you tomorrow along with a very special update of a very special former foster with a very special (and distinctive) trait.

Guess Who?

    1. A cat person would always be looking for them, that's for sure.

  2. How did I know that would be Ruby up there? ;)

I live in a historic neighborhood where the houses are right up on the street, and when the weather is nice my cats are always in the open (but screened) windows. I frequently hear people say "oh, look at the cat!" as they walk by!

    1. This particular window looks out into the back yard, so I'm not sure they get much notice. They tend to hang out in the back of the house because "THERE'S BUNNIES BACK THERE!!"

  3. I am using "Jean" for Ruby's middle name in my head when I read this post today and I can't remember what her "real" middle name is. I'm glad she is so happy in her home. As far as the update on the former foster, didn't they ALL have very special traits? I'm going to guess Eloise with those super bat-ears though she must have heard I was craving tabby news.

    1. Ruby Noelle (the Christmas adoption)... although she tends to just be Ruby Roo, so I sometimes forget her full name myself.

  4. Makes me nervous just seeing them up on that window! MOL

  5. Aww, Roo is such a cute nickname! I'll have to add that to my list (ala Winnie the Pooh themed)

I'm sure Mama's family will find there way to her soon - so gorgeous and sweet!
