I will admit that we haven't tried very hard to find Mama's home yet. We've been a bit preoccupied with ringworm and kitten baths and Broadway musicals. After passing through a pretty fair incubation period to make sure Mama doesn't have the fungus (she looks good!), I will be uploading her to Petfinder tonight. I love having her gentle soul upstairs in the family room but it's time to find her a home of her own.

Today's the day that we take Mama's direction and bring her babies to the vet. They will receive their second round of shots and a thorough examination with a black light.
I'm hoping for the best and expecting the worst. Of course, "the worst" just means that we'll be spending more time like this:
I can handle it and so can they. I'll be back tomorrow with the vet report.
