Yes, my friends... Graham has left the building. Our sweet, fuzzy, marbled, ginger boy left the nest on Friday evening.
For those of you who don't know, Graham has been "spoken for" since before he ever stepped foot in Teeny Tiny Tabby Town. His new mama knows our feral kitten catcher out in the real world and had mentioned that her family was ready to add a new baby to the family. She asked if there were kittens available. She hoped there was an orange boy. We showed her a picture. It was love at first sight.
Graham has a kitty sister and a human sister at his new house, along with a mom and dad who love him like crazy. They have been watching his exploits on the blog while anxiously awaiting the time that he was both healthy and tamed. Our boy became a complete lovebug during his time here... greeting me at the door and demanding snuggles (and when he didn't get them right away, he resorted to ankle rubs and toe licks!) I heard he was purring upon arrival at his new home.
He's come a long way, baby.
Happy life, dumpling.

There are two more members of the Mayweather clan who are rapidly approaching their time to leave the nest. Without their big brother around to distract attention from them, the girls are coming even more out of their shells. Garnet approaches me as I enter the room and accepts cuddles regularly. She even climbed into a lap all on her very own yesterday! It won't be long before she's brave enough to take her forever family by storm.
Belle's still holding out a bit on us. But she's coming around. I'd say one more week tops and she'll be as brave as her sister.
There have been a couple of inquiries about adopting our girls, but neither situation came to fruition. If you or anyone you know is interested in one or both of these tiny tabbies, you can reach me through the blog, through the Facebook inbox, or a teenytinytabbies AT gmail DOT com.
I plan to put together a blog post for Monday night with lots of photos and bios of each girl... perfect for sharing ;) Stay tuned.

Myles is still in foster at the vet clinic. They're hoping to have a home for him by this Thursday. Click here for more information.
Such a sweetheart that Graham was. Best wishes to him and his new family. Hope they can keep us supplied with updates periodically too :)
ReplyDeleteYeah for Graham and his new family! Purrs to the girls and paws crossed for Myles.
ReplyDeleteHOORAY for Graham - such a beautiful boy; who could help but adore him! The girls are equally as gorgeous and I'm sure won't wait long at all for their forever homes. Belle looks a great deal like my Miss Remy whom I adored. Fingers crossed for Myles - please keep us posted.
ReplyDeleteBye sweet Graham! Please tell your folks to send us pictures of you as you grow so we can see what that beautiful swirly coat of yours does!!
ReplyDeleteI can't wait for updates from Graham's family -- those paws promise a big, bright future. Looking forward to his sisters reaching their potential and hoping that Myles will find his family soonest.
ReplyDeleteCongrats to Graham's family! Best wishes cute boy! May the girls find their home right quick!
ReplyDeleteAww, bye sweet Graham!!
ReplyDeleteAnd Garnet, what a brave girl to climb in to a lap all of her own accord! :)
Wow, couldn't believe the difference in the photo showing Graham upon arrival and then how he looked just before he went to his furrever home! What a great job you did, Kelly.
ReplyDeleteAnd it looks like the girls are well on their way too! What a happy, happy post!
