Are you ready? Would you like a sneak peek at who is moving into the front room in a few more days?
Guess who's coming to dinner!
And they move too!! I'm having trouble uploading the videos for some reason, so you can find them here at this YouTube link and this link too. The videos were taken through a window and a window screen to keep from spooking the midgets (remember, they're feral!). We appear to have one orange boy and two torbie girls. This is the first look I've had at them, but it appears that we have not one but TWO Ruby Juniors! Ruby Junior #1 has an orange splotch on her head, while Ruby Junior #2 has the wide orange shading stripe down her side. GAH!
Aren't they incredible? They will be with us soon, very soon. We'll talk more about babies and names tomorrow.
What happens to the gorgeous mom? Is she too feral to rehab? Or are you taking her in as well? She's amazing!
ReplyDeleteIsn't Mama Marmie incredible??!?!? She has been living in the feral colony near my friend's house for quite some time and is too feral to foster. The plan is TNR (again... she's been impossible to trap).
DeleteOh, Oh, Oh; Drop traps & patience! We use them for those trap-wise ferals that absolutely Refuse to enter a tunnel trap. Hungry enough, they'll walk under the trap, you pull the string...and Off to the vet. Tomahawk live traps has a nice folding model. Web has lots of DIY sites for the handyman-types.
DeleteGOOD Luck! Keep us posted. She's wonderful and deserves to be taken off that baby-train.
Oh my gosh, those kittens are adorable. That little orange one sure is a spunky one! Soooooo cute!!!!
ReplyDeleteWow, those look like big, healthy, beautifully marked babies. Mama Marmie sure did a good job raisin' them hellraisers!

Wow! The mom is gorgeous!!! I wish I could have another cat! I would take her in a heartbeat! Is someone going to help her too?
ReplyDeleteShe's proving difficult to catch, even for TNR purposes. We think she's too feral to be homed, but she has a wonderful caretaker looking our for her in the feral colony.
DeleteMom does a good job with them. :) Good luck trapping her....
ReplyDeleteBe sure to stop by and visit us today.
OMC, those are some gorgeous, fun babies!!! And their markings are so very cool. Yayyyyyyy - I can't wait to find out which one is "mine"! :)
ReplyDeleteDo you have a favorite? Maybe you and Chris and Kathryn can duke it out to name the one of your choice ;)
DeleteSpunky things! I can't wait till we get a few closer up pics.
ReplyDeleteI'm so not looking..
ReplyDeleteI too have had issues sharing my youtube videos. When I click 'my videos" nothing is there.
Ive started going to the Youtube page, clicking share, finding the blogger html, copying it, going to the 'edit html' tab on the posts, pasting the code there, then go back to 'compose' to finish writing my posts..
My favourite is all of them so I have no problem letting Amy & Kathryn decide who they want to name. I'll name whoever's left! I have held off trying to think of a name until I see a few more pictures of each of them and you're able to give us an idea about their little personalities. :)

I've only been coming up with girl names, so I'll be happy to take on one of the girlies!!
