Pick A Pair?

We're still two to three weeks away from saying goodbye to the Madison Midgets, but two of these special pumpkins are spoken for already. The other two are pretty spectacular themselves. In fact, they're so nice that you just might want to adopt twice :)

Miss Misty Madison is a high-spirited little girl who loves her brothers. This entire litter is quite bonded to each other, but Misty is rarely very far removed from the boys. It doesn't matter which one, she generally can be found next to, leaning on, cuddling with, following around, and pouncing on a brother.

Our stunningly gorgeous tabby girl has unique markings in that, like her brother Grizzly, she is mostly black down her back and tabby from the front and sides.

Our baby girl has a case of the wiggles. Unless she is sleeping, Misty is in constant movement. Running, jumping, playing, or moving towards you for snuggles. She is the first one to greet me at the door and spends the entire time that I'm in the room trying to figure out how to get into my lap (even when I'm standing and not making a lap at that moment). She has a gigantic purr and it drowns out her much bigger brothers.

The tiniest of the Madisons has an adventuresome streak. Misty is always ready to explore new places and try new things.

But when Misty has wandered too far away from her brothers (or they have romped too far away from her), she calls loudly to them until one of the boys shows up to collect her. It's stinking adorable.

Our girl could do just fine on her own. She's brave and friendly and adjusts quickly to new situations. But if the right family came along who happened to be thinking about adopting two kittens, I would absolutely love to see Misty go home with her brother...

Levi is the quietest Madison kitten, not shy by any means but he is the kitten least likely to make a fuss at me for attention when I come through the door.

Most likely, that's because Levi is the kitten who is also trying to get through that door... going in the other direction. He's led several charges through the door and up the stairs. Levi also holds the record for most expeditions to the far reaches of under-the-bed where hands have trouble reaching him.

Levi is a worker bee who loves making himself useful in the foster room. He insists upon helping with litter box maintenance... standing in the sand, pouncing on the scoop, jumping in the trash can, dirtying the box right after the job is done. He's a real helper, that boy.

Far from being a generic black kitten, Levi has fantastic tabby stripes what appears to be a solid black coat. Check out his forehead for the distinctive tabby "M" too.

Little Levi is a dumpling full of love who adores his siblings, craves attention and affection from people, and would be a wonderful forever companion for his sister Misty.

Of course, Levi would do well on his own too. But WHY would you adopt only one when you have have them BOTH???

Because of the fungus currently among us, it will be another two to three weeks before Levi and Misty will be ready to move to their forever homes. But... If you are interested in adopting one or both of these beautiful kittens, you can certainly start the process right now. For more information or to set up a "meet and greet", just give me shout. You can reach me in one of the following ways:

1. Send an e-mail to the address in the sidebar on the right.

2. Send a private message through our Facebook page. And, by the way, if you haven't "liked" us yet... Why not??

3. Leave me your details in the comment section and I'll get in touch as soon as possible.

And now you know which two Madison kittens have already been matched to their forever families. I'd be happy to tell you more about it in tomorrow's post. :)

I'm now "networked" (check the lovely large white box in the sidebar on the right). Please feel free to join me there. I look awfully lonely in that box by myself. If I did it right, this should link new posts automatically to the Facebook feed too.

  3. Fingers crossed for these two and their beautiful mother, and I can't wait to hear tomorrow's adoption story. Hope the baths and medicating are still going smoothly: you're sounding admirably, impressively calm about everything.
