We had a round robin of line-ups for tomorrow's surgical schedule. There were only three slots available, so they were originally given to the All Stars so we could get the litter done together. Then Miggy's eye went wonky. Then both of Princess Torii's eyes joined them on the train to Goop City. Their spots were given to Belle and Garnet, who were due to travel with Maxie to the vet on Friday morning.
And then Maxie's eye decided to misbehave.... sigh.
The good news is that, upon further evaluation, we have found three healthy kittens to make the trip....
"They're going to do WHAT to Belle? Nooooooo!"
"Garnet shall be waiting up here on the curtain rod until you change your mind, Lady."
"If Miggy had known THAT'S the reward for his eye getting better, he would have spit out all that nasty medicine! Oh, and you tell those people to leave the belly button alone. There's nothing wrong with having an outie!"
Belle, Garnet, and Miguel will be leaving the house at o'dark-thirty Friday morning. I'll slip Maxie and Princess some breakfast on our way out the door. Hopefully they will all forgive me by Friday evening.
I'll be back on Saturday with an update.
Ooh... good luck with this procedure!! I'm sure Maxie and Princess will appreciate the breakfast that their compatriots will be so cruelly denied :)
ReplyDeleteUgh, pulling food is the worst part about kitties having procedures done! I always dread it because mine are so very INSISTENT upon being fed!
ReplyDelete"WE DON'T NEED TO BE TUTORED! WE IS SMART ENOUGH ALREADYYYYYYYY!" Heheh. Happy fixin', kittens!
ReplyDeletePoor mistreated babies!
ReplyDeletepurrs for their surgery and the joy of transitioning from kittenhood to cathood. It is a right of passage you know ;)
ReplyDeleteHope the surgeries all go well and everyone is home and happy soon. Oh yeah, good luck keeping them from running and jumping. At least that was the advice of our vet...seriously!
