Tigers on Tuesday

So, I'm a little late... so were the Tigers. The kids and I arrived at the ballpark at 5 p.m. for a 7:05 game. We left after 11 p.m. and the game was still going. Wednesday morning is going to come MUCH too early!

The reason for a mid-week, school-night, early trip in to the ballpark?

Procuring one of these was a top priority.

It was Miguel Cabrera bobble head night at the ball park in honor of the reigning Triple Crown champion (and this year's leader in Batting Average and RBI)

Oh yeah, we went to see the game too.

We cheered extra hard for the kittens' namesakes.

Batting second and playing Right Field... Torii Hunter.

Batting third and playing Third Base... Miguel Cabrera.

Batting clean up and playing First Base... Prince Fielder.

Okay, so Max Scherzer wasn't pitching but they DID interview him on the scoreboard.

I realize most of this is relatively unimportant to you.

The really important part was what the kitten thought of his bobble head.

"It really looks nothing like Miggy, you know."

  1. I think it would be funny if you painted a white strip on the bobblehead's nose, so he looked a little more like Miggy! ;)
