Get to Work, Kitten Namers!

I received a treasure trove of pictures in my e-mail inbox on Thursday afternoon that I thought you might want to see. So without further ado...

Ladies and Gentlemen,

I present...

The Mayweather Munchkins

For temporary identification purposes, we'll call them (from left to right): Ruby Junior, Tortie Girl, and Orange Boy

Orange Boy is the biggest of the three Mayweather Munchkins.

Then comes sister Tortie Girl.

Ruby Junior is the runt of the litter.

A look at the differences in the marking of the two sisters.

Their eyes are a bit goopy from the anti-biotic ointment, but they are much better than when they were trapped a few days ago.

They're a sweet, snuggly litter of kittens (with each other) who are slowly coming around to realize that people aren't so bad.

So Kitten Namers?

What shall we name these sweet little babies?

I don't have any hard and fast rules about naming this glorious trio of kittens... only that Chris, Kathryn, and Amy get to name them. If any of the three of you have a strong preference about naming a particular kitten, please let me know. You may want to submit a girl's name and a boy's name if the specific kitten does not matter and I will mix and match your names and preferences until we have a trio. E-mail your name selections to teenytinytabbies AT gmail DOT com.

Since I couldn't wait to get these photos to you, you should consider this your Friday post and an early weekend gift. The babies have a vet appointment Thursday afternoon, after which we will figure out a time to transfer babies over the weekend. If all of the Mayweathers have names and are in my custody by the end of the weekend, I'll come back with another bonus post then.

Have a great weekend, everyone!

  1. oh my they are cuties - look at the pattern on that boy!! good luck (and lots of treats....)

  2. I REALLY want Ruby Junior to be named "Tuesday"..

  3. I second the "Tuesday" nomination. I put some other comments on the FB page.
