Hey Miggy!

Oh Miggy
You're so fine
You're so fine, you blow my mind
Hey Miggy

Oh Miggy
What a pity
You don't understand
You take me by the heart when you take me by the hand
(Paw?)

Oh Miggy
You're so pretty
Can't you understand
It's cats like you Miggy
Oh what you do Miggy, do Miggy
Don't break my heart Miggy

He's a heartbreaker

Dream maker

Lolly taker

Don't you mess around with him.

And what might be my favorite right now:

Nah nah nah nah nah nah nah nah, Nah nah nah nah nah nah
He's getting Miggy with it

(And if you'd like to see the true video in all it's Will Smith glory, click here)

Kitten Miguel Cabrera is actually quite a bit like Human Miguel Cabrera. He's big. He's soft-spoken. He's incredibly popular.

Just ask his harem.

As the only boy in the room, Miggy fulfills the role of the lovable oaf of the foster room. It's hard to explain how he goes about his business in cartoon-like fashion. Maybe it's the markings on his face, but I think it also has much to do with his outlook on life. He plods along all "dum-de-dum-de-dum" on his way to his destination... He's never too high, never too low, he's just Miggy.

(And as a slight aside, is there anyone who can tell me which cartoon character this dear boy reminds me of? It's driving me crazy!!! I'm thinking it's a Looney Toon, but I can't come up with it!)

"Excuse me. But "just Miggy" should be more than enough!"

Absolutely! From the tips of his all-white toes...

To the spots on his black nose...

Miggy is the perfect specimen of a hunka-hunka-man cat.

He's sweet (if not petite) and always has time to turn on his low, rumbling purr for you. And if he's really feeling it? His purr kicks up into a purr and a squeak... purr and a squeak... purr and a squeak.

Miguel is gentle, easy going, and gets along with everyone. And if they don't get along with him? He just shrugs his shoulders and keeps walking. He is patient and accepting of all creatures. Chuckles the Wonder Pooch (tm) has never rattled him. A hissing Simba just gets blinked as if to say, "Dude, what's your problem?" There's no response, no anxiety, no fear, and no aggression. He's just Miggy and will continue to be Miggy no matter what anyone thinks about it.

We think he's pretty fabulous. You would too, if you got to know him.

And have I mentioned that tail? ;)

Miguel Cabrera, the kitten edition, is inexplicably still available for adoption. If you have a loving heart and wish to bring this boy into your home, I suggest you speak up now. He's not likely to be around much longer. You can contact me with questions or adoption inquiries through the message box on our Facebook page or by sending a message to teenytinytabbies AT gmail DOT com.

  1. <3 Miggy! He really sounds like my Thunderbolt (also a mellow tuxie who ignores the shrieking Shadow with a look of what is your problem dude?)

  2. don't know how anyone (except us of course) could pass up that description. :)

BTW - mom says "thank so much" for the 80s references (but we think she was being sarcastic)

  4. Love the song references! I think the cartoon I would liken him too would be Quick Draw McGraw or Doggie daddy. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kD3qacC0Tdg

Congrats for managing to song-check both Toni Basil and Pat Benatar in the same post - impressive!
