Caturday Art Hop: The Patron Saint of Teeny Tiny Tabby Town

I'm a little late to the Caturday Art Hop party. But since it's still Caturday and I didn't want to miss out on the fun (and, let's face it, I'm not particularly well-known for my punctuality), I figured that a late post is better than no post at all.

I searched through my files of photos until I found just the right subject, opened up in PicMonkey and played around for a few minutes. I am pleased to present:

St. Norman, the patron saint of Teeny Tiny Tabby Town

We know he is always watching us.

And he's plenty handsome and famous enough to have been the subject of the pop art of even the most popular artist too :-)

(I have no idea if it's even possible, but I would totally print my Warhol Wanna-Be creation on canvas and hang it on the foster room wall. I love it.)

If you haven't seen the Caturday Art posts, check out the link at the top which will take you to Athena, Cat Goddess and her post that links to the participating blogs.

Happy Caturday, everyone!

  1. Great job Kelly! Here's what I try for the canvas thing....Right-click on the pic on the blog if you have not already saved the pic somewhere before posting it here. I know Walmart and CVS have different available mediums on which to put pics. There is also a thing I get from Amazon that is a coupon promo thing about putting pics on photos so maybe look in the local section of Amazon also then compare prices. It is totally do-able depending on your budget.

  3. Kelly, you can have it printed on canvas at Costco. It will take a couple of weeks - I had a photo of the kids done that way. Turned out great. Love Normal Warhol :)

  4. the only reason it wouldn't be possible if the file size was too small. Google around to find a deal.. you should find one with valentine's day coming up.
